Evolution Program

 

This 3 year program focuses on imparting hospitality skills that influence the overall personality development of students, besides making them job-ready.

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management from SSDH

 

Impact Program

In addition to the Evolution Program, students of the Impact Program also study for AHLEI’s 12 course Hospitality Management Diploma.

Global Learning Program

A program focused on international exposure and a career abroad, this program requires a student to complete two years of education at the SSDH campus and the final year from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, UK.

Internship

For gaining an in-depth understanding of the industry, the 3 year program includes an internship of 6 months. SSDH facilitates internship for students in India and abroad. Based on students’ location preference, they are guided and counseled by mentors for effective internship tenure.

SSDH has exclusive partnerships with leading industry brands to enable internships in India. SSDH also has associations with a number of universities abroad, to facilitate students’ internships in other countries, the first step towards a global career.

The 3rd Year Abroad Option

There is an option for students who wish to pursue an international degree in hospitality. SSDH has an exclusive association with Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland, UK. Students can complete the first 2 years of hospitality training at SSDH and the third one at ENU, thereby earning the final qualification from Edinburgh Napier University under our Global Learning Program.

The preparation for the transfer to ENU begins in the first year itself. Though there is no additional exam to avail this option, students need to attain a specific academic score and an IELTS score, to be eligible for the lateral entry to ENU. Special counseling to students and parents is also provided by SSDH.

On attainment of the SSDH diploma and Edinburgh Napier University diploma after the 3 year period, students are further given the opportunity to gain another degree. Anytime within the next 5 years, students can take exams and attain Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) as well.

PG & Hostel

 

All outstation students are supported for PG accommodation in the vicinity of the institute. The institute is ideally located in the heart of the millennium city, Gurgaon. It is well-connected via the metro and roads. Other transport facilities can also be provided if students need it.

Eligibility

To be eligible for admission to SSDH, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Passed or appeared for Class 12 level Board Examination. NIOS students can also apply.
  • Completed 18 years of age as on 30th June 2016.
