The Foundation directs its resources to the extent reasonable in order to improve the quality of life of the people by focusing on Environment, Education, Sports, Rural Development & other Humanitarian & Social causes to enhance the joys in their lives.

Honda India Foundation conducts various programs over a wide spectrum of sectors like training differently abled persons, women empowerment, child safety, automotive training, reducing carbon emissions, promoting sports by encouraging home grown talent, skill development of BPL students, to mention a few.

SSDH –Implementing Training Partner for Honda India Foundation

As part of its CSR Initiative, Honda India Foundation has entrusted Visan Foundation with funding for training 70 BPL youth from the North eastern region of India, through its implementing partner School of Skills Development in Hospitality (SSDH).

The project is tasked with the dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural poor North East families and cater to the career aspirations of NE youth.

SSDH (A division of Visan Hospitality) is an approved Training Provider under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

SSDH shall train BPL Youth from North Eastern States of India in Hospitality Courses and ensure job placement on completion of the training program. Students shall also be awarded a certificate from the Government of India on successful completion of the course.

Honda India Foundation Program Details

Job Role: Food & Beverage Service Steward

Course Duration: 2 Months of training of 8 hours each day

Fees Structure: Completely FREE for students (Honda India Foundation pays for it under the scheme)

Residential Option: Students from North Eastern States of the country are provided Free Accommodation as well as food for the entire duration of the training program.

Minimum Qualification:

  1. Student should be 10th / 12th Pass and 18 years of age
  2. Willingness to work in hotel & hospitality industry post training

Documents Needed:

  1. Valid Aadhaar Card (Rural)
  2. BPL Proof (Valid BPL Ration Card / Valid Job Card / BPL Certificate)
  3. Caste & Tribe Certificate
  4. Education Documents

Total Intake: 70 Students

On Course Completion students will get :

Government Skill Certificate

The students are assessed by the Approved & Authorized Govt Assessing Organization. On successful passing the assessment, the students are given Government Skill Certificate of the Job Role ‘Food & Beverage Steward’.

100% Job Assurance

The students are placed in various Leading Hotels, Fine Dining Restaurants, QSRs with good salaries. Post placement support is provided to the students during the placement.
